I often see a deer on its own and I think it is the same one.
If you are wondering why Angel, have a look at the photo. Can you see the white marking on her neck? It almost looks like a heart. So, being a bit soppy I just thought I’d give her a name – and the first thing that entered my head was ‘Angel’.
Although there are different local walks I take, there is one particular area I visit more than others. I’m getting used to seeing the deer and it seems that, at the moment anyway, there are three that are moving around together, then there is ‘Angel’; on her own. It will be interesting to see how much this changes when there are new additions/kids to the area in late Spring.
I do see the lone deer/Angel often, the picture aside was one frosty morning.
Am I absolutely, 100% sure it is the same deer? Well I guess not, but my experience of only ever seeing one, solo deer at a time when I walk in this area, leads me to believe it is the one and only. And anyway, it’s a bit of fun!
